The beach club is intended for volleyball players looking to grow their game. Players with limited beach experience are welcome.

NO! We'll match athletes up when partners are needed, but some prefer to have a dedicated partner. We encourage athletes to play with multiple partners during the season, especially in tournaments.

Athletes are encouraged to play in tournaments, but they aren't required, or included.

In short, no. Beach volleyball is different from most other sports in that coaching is not allowed during game play, only during time outs, side switches and between sets. Our goal is to train and prepare athletes, but making mistakes, adjusting, and figuring things out with a partner during competition are important steps in the process of learning the game.

West Michigan Volleyball gear will be available for purchase, but isn't included in your registration fee.

We won't be having tryouts, but we may limit the number of participants based on coaching availability.

We'll provide the balls, nets, lines, and everything else needed for practice.

Sign up for a single session to see if it's a good fit. If you decide to register for the whole season, your fee can be applied to the balance.

If it's sprinkling, chilly, or windy, we'll still hold practice. If there's lightning, we'll temporarily postpone seeing if it clears up. Full season = nine sessions. We’re scheduling ten sessions, but may need to cancel one due to weather. Any more than one cancellation would be rescheduled.
