  • AA/Open - In general, people in the open division have played competitively for a while, are pretty serious about it, and hoping to win some prize money. These people generally practice/train 2-3 days a week, and compete frequently. Many have competed at the college level.

A - Generally a bit less competitive, but may include people who have played open in the past, or are hoping to in the future. They are less concerned with winning prize money, although there will be money/prizes for top finishers. They might play 1-2 nights a week, and compete in several tournaments during the summer.

B - This division is for those who don't have much experience, or are still learning the game. The focus in this division is on having fun, and playing people you wouldn't normally get the chance to play with/against. We often have prizes for this division, but it isn’t the norm at most tournaments.

Juniors - We have divisions for 12 and under, all the way up to 18 and under, though it’s not uncommon for juniors teams to “play up” to B, A or AA divisions, depending on experience. Boys and girls are eligible to play in the 12&U division, but older boys are put into either men’s B, or a separate division.

  • Pool play followed by single elimination playoff.

Please limit warm ups to 5 min or less - Exception for 4 team pools, and 2nd round of playoffs if top seeds officiate 1st round.

One, 60 second timeout per game, plus technical timeout when combined scores equal 21.

Number of games and points per game depend on size of pool.

All games are rally scoring, win by two.

Teams switch sides on multiples of 7 (when both scores added together equal a multiple of 7) **Games to 15 - Switch on multiples of 5.

**12 & Under division - may scoot closer to net to serve, then play full court. 5 serve max per person before switching servers. Lighter weight balls and lower nets may be used.
